This is a great way to add some resistance to your LifeLift workout when you don't want to follow a video or DVD workout, while watching TV or just relaxing.
I often sit in a recliner chair, on the couch or in my bed, propped up on pillows and I use the different stretch bands in many different ways. I love the way I feel after a workout with the bands and it is such a good resistance workout.
. When leaning back simply put one foot onto each side of the band and hold one handle with each hand. Push off with your legs while you do your LifeLift breaths. It can help make your core muscles stronger and it can stretch out your back too. The bands seem to give extra support to your back while giving some great resistance for that all important core workout.
You can also combine two of the figure 8 bands for an amazing workout with your LifeLift breaths.
Wrap one around each thigh, then get into a squat position. You can add the second band and pull one with your arms. This will work your entire upper body as well as your lower body and with the LifeLift breaths you can always count on getting a great workout for your abdomen.
